Reason for rehoming: These girls were all part of the big welsh mouse rescue last year. A man in Wales allowed his mice to breed out of control and ended up with about 1000 mice in his house.
Temperament: Friendly and easy to handle
Medical problems: Libby and Lois have some small growths on their skin which have been identified as benign blocked sebaceous glands. These are not a problem in themselves and are highly unlikely to need any treatment. However they do indicate underlying genetic problems and others with these lumps have died suddenly at a young age.
Neutered: No
Will the group be split: No
Transport available: We will appeal for help with getting them to their new homes
Other: STAR will cover any future vet bills for these girls. We will be looking for an experienced mouse home for these girls please.
Libby
Lois
Lois is showing off her lumps in that pic. As you can see they're not especially pretty but they don't bother her or cause her any problems.

Group: 4
Number of animals: 1
Type/Breed/Variety: Fancy Mice
Sex: Male
Age(s): Not known for sure. At least a year but suspect 18 months plus.
Name(s): Bruno
Colours: Black and white
Neutered: No
Reason for rehoming: Bruno also came from the welsh rescue. On arrival he had been badly attacked by other mice. He is ok now but we don't feel that neutering him would be fair so he needs a home on his own.
Temperament: Friendly and easy to handle
Medical problems: Bruno's skin and coat were damaged by being attacked and haven't recovered very well. This doesn't cause him any problems, he just looks like a scruff bless him. As with all the welsh mice his breeding is terrible so other problems might occur.
Neutering: No
Will the group be split: N/A
Transport available: We will appeal for help with getting his to his new home
